Mei Lee Productions is an independent mother-daughter creative studio building original worlds through stories, animation, illustration, and thoughtfully designed everyday objects.
We believe everyone belongs somewhere, every story is worth knowing, and imagination has a place in everyday life. Each collection is more than a product—it's a small piece of a growing world that invites people to slow down, wonder, and carry a little more hope with them.
Founded by writer Fawn Mei Dumke and visual artist Kaili Mei Cay, we create original artwork, original characters, and original story worlds inspired by illustration, animation, folklore, and imaginative storytelling.
Our studio designs story-driven products—including journals, mugs, stickers, apparel, prints, candles, and home décor—that feature our original intellectual property and artwork while helping support the development of future books, illustrated works, and animated projects.

Every character, illustration, and fictional world featured in our collections is original intellectual property created by Mei Lee Productions. Our products are designed in our Ohio studio and professionally produced through trusted manufacturing partners using a made-to-order process that helps reduce waste while maintaining high production quality.
Whether printed on canvas, candles, mugs, stickers, journals, apparel, or collectible pieces, every item is designed to feel like a small artifact from somewhere larger—something personal, meaningful, and imaginative enough to become part of your own story too.
An Intergenerational Creative Studio
At the heart of Mei Lee Productions is creative collaboration across generations.
Kaili brings visual storytelling, animation, character design, and illustration into the studio’s growing universe. Her artwork forms the visual language behind many of our worlds and characters.
Fawn brings poetry, fiction, screenwriting, and narrative development—helping shape the emotional atmosphere, themes, and stories that live beneath the artwork.
Additional artwork contributions from family members occasionally appear throughout our collections as well, allowing the studio to remain deeply personal, collaborative, and creatively connected.
This ongoing exchange between image and story is what defines Mei Lee Productions.
